Are You Ready For Winter?
As the temperature drops, and we start to see colder days we wanted to make sure that our walking staff have everything they need to keep them warm.
(Check out our new fleece lined; waterproof winter coats modelled by our lovely Gina in our blog image - If you’re not afraid of “hat hair” we have beanie hats too!)
Here’s our Top Tips for Keeping Warm:
Dress in layers:
Wearing multiple layers traps warm air and can keep you warmer than just one thick layer. You can add or remove layers to regulate your temperature.
Wear the right clothes:
Wear clothes under a waterproof that are made from wool, fleecy synthetic fibres or cotton. A lot of heat escapes from your head, so consider a warm hat that also covers your ears.
Eat and drink well:
Eat a combination of slow release foods like cheese, nuts and bread, as well as those fast release options such as sweets and fruit. A hot drink can also keep you warm and hydrated.
